Temporary rental agreements will soon be largely abolished

The temporary contracts that are already in place can continue to exist. New temporary rental contracts are possible under specific conditions, for international expat students and, for example, people who are separated and have a child. You can read more about the exceptions here.

Or on the other hand, if you go abroad temporarily. The diplomat clause, also known as an interim rental contract, for when you have to go abroad for work also remains in place.
